Entretanto, no Irão, há protestos reais contra um regime islâmico brutal, com mortos, presos e mulheres espancadas.
A questão não é o povo. É o poder.
Os “direitos internacionais” activam-se quando servem para proteger regimes, ditadores ou enquadramentos geopolíticos convenientes.
Quando um povo é espancado, preso e morto pelo poder que o governa, esses direitos deixam simplesmente de existir.
Sem cobertura mediática, sem indignação ritual e sem qualquer utilidade para a sinalização de virtude.

Manifestantes indignados com a deterioração da economia iraniana organizaram um protesto no Grande Bazar de Teerão na terça-feira. Os ativistas afirmam que pelo menos 36 pessoas foram mortas nos protestos que começaram em dezembro e continuam a se espalhar pelo país.

We are witnessing a revolution in real time coming from within. The Iranian people are rising to the streets by the millions, saying enough suppression, killing and torture by the Islamic Republic who has been occupying Iran for the past 47 years. Not only have they taken away our human rights but led the country to poverty and suffering.
Let’s stand by them and use our voices, as the government has cut off internet there and the media is not covering this.
